Artist Guide

Everything you need to share your piano music and services on Piano.Center and build an audience.

Applying to become an artist

Submit an application on the Become an Artist page with your display name, biography, headshot and banner images, and links to your work. Applications are free and there is no listing fee.

The review process

Our team reviews every application to keep the marketplace trustworthy — usually within a few days. Once approved, your artist storefront goes live and you can start publishing products immediately. If your application is not accepted, we tell you why and you are welcome to apply again.

Selling opens soon

Selling on Piano.Center is coming soon; for now Artists can share free pieces and services and build an audience. There is nothing to set up for payouts yet — we will announce when selling and payouts open.

Uploading products

From the artist dashboard, create a product, upload your file (PDF sheet music, MIDI, or audio), set the title, description and difficulty, then publish. MIDI files are automatically analysed (key, BPM, difficulty) so listeners can find them in search.

Offering services and coaching

Beyond digital products, you can list professional services such as custom arrangements, session work, or one-on-one piano coaching. Visitors send you a quote request and you reply with the details — quoting is free and no payment is taken while selling opens soon. See Services and the Coaching directory for examples.

Getting Started

Piano.Center is a premier hub connecting piano artists who create digital pieces (sheet music, MIDI files, and audio recordings) with listeners who appreciate quality piano content. Browse the catalog, download free pieces, find a coach, and discover Artists from around the world.

Creating an account is simple. Click the "Sign Up" or "Register" button in the top navigation, then choose to sign up with your email or use Google authentication.

Once registered, you can keep a library of your free downloads and access them from any device. If you want your own storefront, you can apply to become an Artist through your account dashboard.

Yes! You can browse all products and Artist storefronts without an account, and free pieces download instantly with one click — no sign-in required. A free account is entirely optional; it just lets you keep a library of your downloads across devices.

Piano.Center supports three main file types: PDF files for sheet music, MIDI files for digital playback and learning, and WAV/MP3 audio recordings. Each listing indicates which file types it includes.

Downloads

Free pieces download instantly with one click — no account needed. If you sign in, everything you download is kept in the Downloads area of your account dashboard, so you can find and re-download your pieces from any device at any time.

There is no limit. Free pieces can be downloaded as many times as you like, and if you are signed in they stay in your download library for good.

For Artists

To become an Artist, log in to your account and navigate to the "Become an Artist" page. Complete the application form with information about yourself and the type of content you plan to share.

Our team reviews all applications to ensure quality standards. Once approved, you can set up your storefront and start sharing free pieces and your services while selling opens soon.
